Forest Hills Fly Fishing

Fly fishing fans will love this peaceful fishery, which sits in serene woodland on the edge of the beautiful Forest of Bowland. Here, you can try your hand at lake and river fly fishing, from both the jetty and the bank. What’s more, the 4-acre lake is regularly stocked with rainbow trout, not to mention the occasional tiger, brown and blue.

Manor House Fisheries

One of the best coarse fisheries in Lancashire, Manor House Fisheries is home to four mature and well stocked waters. With between 10 to 30 pegs per water, you’re almost certain to find yourself a comfortable spot – and, with fish weighing from 1 lb to 30 lb, you never know what might bite!

Hudsons Farm Fishery

Hudsons Farm Fishery is one of the oldest fisheries on the Fylde. It is home to three coarse fishing lakes, which includes one specimen lake filled with carp and Wels catfish, and two pleasure lakes. This is also one of the few fisheries in Lancashire that allows night fishing.

Greenhalgh Lodge Fishery

This friendly fishery has everything you could want: a well stocked 3.5-acre lake, a fantastic range of depths and features, and carp weighing up to 25 lb. What’s more, the lake is reserved entirely for pleasure angling, and is open all day, every day, from March through October.

Borwick Fishing

Anglers of all ages and abilities are in for a treat when they purchase a day ticket at Borwick Fishing – one of the largest and most varied fisheries in Lancashire. This gold level accredited, 80-acre site is home to nine different waters, and, as such, a huge variety of fish, including carp, pike and catfish.
