    • Syd Wild founded Moss Wood 40 years ago and the park is still run by Syd and his family today.
    • Visit several parks to get a feel for what’s on offer. If you wish, we would be happy for you  to talk to some existing owners  about their experience.
    • To get the most out of holiday home ownership, many people choose a park location no further than two or three hours’ drive from where they live.
    • Are there any other costs to consider with owning a holiday home?

Our annual pitch fees at Moss Wood are £2144.60 (for the 2019 season) and are payable on 1st March - we do offer an early payment discount of £70 if payment is received before 1st February. Local Authority Rates are around £208.05 (2018 rate) and are due around June or July. Insurance is necessary for all holiday homes on the park and will typically be charged at around £11.00 per £1000 of value - but you are free to shop around for the best deal. • Use an alcohol based hand sanitiser that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available
      • Avoid close contact with others if you are experiencing a cough, symptoms of a cold and fever
      • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
      • Germs can live on some surfaces for hours. Use anti-bacterial spray or wipes when cleaning, especially on frequently touched areas, such as door handles and kitchen surfaces
      • Don't get too close to people coughing, sneezing or with a fever - they can propel small droplets containing the virus into the air. Ideally, keep at least 2m (6ft) away
Following these steps is the best way to slow the spread of almost any germs, including coronavirus.
