Can you swim in the sea at Lytham St Annes?

St Annes is a popular seaside resort, situated approximately 5 miles from Blackpool. It is known for its vast stretch of golden sand and beachside facilities. There is no lifeguard service at Lytham St Annes, so care should be taken if you decide to take a paddle. Swimming is not recommended near the estuary.
