Excellent on-park facilities for touring guests
There are a variety of touring facilities available for guests staying at Moss Wood Caravan Park. All our facilities are easily accessible from our caravan and motorhome pitches and available to use for the duration of your stay. We take great pride in our offering and work hard to maintain high standards at all times.
On park facilities
Modern Amenities block
Our heated toilet and shower block is well equipped with everything you need, including disabled facilities, hairdryers and shavers. The toilets are maintained to a high standard and cleaned by our housekeeping team at regular periods throughout the day.
Shop
Our on site shop stocks everything you will need during your stay, including essential items and delicious treats. We stock a wide range of fresh local produce, so you can sample some of Lancashire’s best food and drink without having to leave the site.
Children’s play parks
There are two outdoor adventure playgrounds at Moss Wood Caravan Park that feature a range of climbing apparatus – perfect for letting younger members of the family burn off some energy. There’s also a playing field with plenty of room for outdoor games.
Private fishing lake
Enjoy a peaceful afternoon spent on the banks of our private coarse fishing lake. The lake is well stocked with carp, roach, rudd, perch and tench. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or helping your little ones catch their first fish – you’re guaranteed an enjoyable day.
Woodland walk
Our woodland walk is the perfect place to enjoy some peace and quiet. Take a leisurely stroll through the native woodland and enjoy the sound of birdsong. In the spring there’s beautiful wildflowers carpeting the ground.
Dog exercise area
Moss Wood is a dog friendly caravan park. We have a dedicated dog exercise area where you can let your dog play off lead. There’s also dog parking at reception should you need to speak to pop and speak to our team. Our shop stocks dog food and poo bags.
Laundrette
We have a laundrette on site with washers, dryers and an ironing board and iron. We kindly ask that you supply your own washing detergent and conditioner. These are available in our shop should you forget to pack your own.
