Just a short drive from our 5-star caravan and holiday home site you’ll find beautiful beaches waiting to be explored. There’s also plenty of scenic walks – perfect for making the most of light evenings.

Beach holidays in Lancashire

Our convenient location affords visitors easy access to some of the best beaches in the North West. While away the summer days, lazing on the beach and taking in the far reaching sea views. Sit back with a good book in hand while the children play in the sand. Or, if you’re feeling brave you could go for a paddle or swim!

We’re fortunate to have plenty of beaches to choose from nearby. Cleveleys, Blackpool, Morecambe, St Annes and Fleetwood are just a short drive from our site. There are also a number of dog friendly beaches in the area, so there’s no need to worry, your four legged friend doesn’t have to miss out!

Exploring the Lancashire Countryside

Make the most of the delightful countryside surrounding our park during your summer caravan holiday. Moss Wood has some of the best of the British countryside accessible from the park. If you’re into hiking there are some fantastic walking trails nearby, including the nationally acclaimed Lancashire Coastal Way.

Caravan breaks in the school holidays

Moss Wood is the ideal for base for a touring caravan break during the school summer holidays. Our family friendly holiday park has plenty to keep younger members of the family entertained, including two outdoor adventure parks and a recreational field.

We feel passionately about the benefits of spending quality family time in nature, so we’ve developed a number of initiatives to encourage children to play outdoors. Little ones will love our nature trail and trying their hand at fishing on our on-site fishing lake.

Throughout the summer months we host plenty of events. Our family fun day sees parents and children compete in a range of traditional games, including the egg and spoon race, splat the rat and coconut shy. It’s a real hit with families visiting our site!

5-star touring park

Moss Wood Caravan Park is a 5-star park with high quality facilities. All of our touring pitches are fully-serviced and come complete with electric hook up, water and drainage. Our touring field is spacious, so every caravan has plenty of room. This provides visitors with ample space for sitting in the sunshine and dining alfresco.

Our on-site shop sells a range of essentials – ideal for cooking up a storm in the summer sun. Stock up on local meat for a delicious barbecue in the grounds of our magnificent site.
