Take the stress out of towing, by leaving your caravan on one our fully serviced touring pitches. Simply tow your touring caravan to our Lancashire holiday park at the start of the season and then enjoy the freedom to come and go as you please. Rest assured your caravan is safe and sound on our secure park when it is not in use. Our live in wardens are on site 24/7 and carry out patrols and checks on a daily basis.

Without the need to pack or set up on arrival, it’s possible to escape for a last minute break or regular weekends away. You can leave everything you need in your caravan ready for use as soon as you arrive. So, you won’t have to worry about packing clothes, activities, caravan equipment and non perishable food items.

Convenient countryside location

Our secluded location, away from busy roads, provides an idyllic environment to relax and enjoy time in the great outdoors. We’re set in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, with plenty of scenic public footpaths accessible from the park. We work hard to maintain the natural environment and allow plants and wildlife to flourish. Seasonal touring pitches are surrounded by mature trees, hedgerows and flowers.

Moss Wood Caravan Park is situated just outside of Cockerham. We are conveniently located for visits to Preston, Blackpool and Lancaster. Beauty spots including the Forest of Bowland and Cockerham Sands are also just a short drive away.

Fully serviced seasonal touring pitches

We usually reserve ten of our touring pitches for seasonal use each year. All of the pitches are hard standing and benefit from water, 16 Amp electricity points, and drainage. Awnings can be left up throughout the season.

The Pitch Fee for 2022 is £2850 including VAT, water and waste. Electricity is metered.

Winter storage

At Moss Wood Caravan Park we are pleased to offer winter storage. The price is £120+ VAT. This covers the whole closed season (1st November to 28/9th February).

Caravans are kept on our touring pitch over the winter months. The parks entrance is covered by CCTV and staff remain on site throughout the year. Our live in wardens cottage is next to the touring field, so our wardens can keep an eye on your caravans external security.

During the winter, customers are not permitted to stay on park, but it is possible to visit your van to check on it – by appointment only.

Please note: We cannot accept responsibility for any internal faults i.e. improper draining of the pipes etc.

Touring pitches are an ideal way to stay with us over a full season at Moss Wood. In fact, many of our previous guests have enjoyed it so much that they moved into one of our Static Holiday Homes on the park!
