Moss Wood Caravan Park is ideally placed for an Easter touring holiday in Lancashire. Our family friendly park is set in a scenic location, surrounded by countryside and within easy reach of beauty spots along the Fylde Coast. There’s plenty to see and do in the local area, allowing you to spend quality time with family and friends. Children will love our on-site facilities, which offer a welcome relief from school!

Our pretty grounds come into their own in the spring, making Easter the ideal time to holiday at our caravan site near Lancaster. Floral arrangements around the park look beautiful as the weather gets warmer, and our on-site woodland walk is carpeted in wildflowers for a few weeks each year.

Easter is undoubtedly one of the best times of year to enjoy a touring caravan holiday at Moss Wood. We’re the number one choice for many families who return to our park for an Easter getaway each year!

Easter caravan holidays

We have a selection of spacious touring pitches available for short breaks and extended stays throughout the Easter holidays. They are suitable for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans and come with electric hook up, water and drainage.

Every pitch has a grass surround, where you can spend time socialising with family and friends. There’s plenty of room to pop up a small table and chairs and enjoy dining al fresco! If you don’t have your own you can hire one of our picnic benches for the duration of your stay. They cost £10 and we will place it by your caravan for you.

All of our touring pitches are dog friendly.

Family friendly facilities

Moss Wood Caravan Park boasts a host of facilities, guaranteed to keep children entertained during a stay at our caravan park. We’re huge advocates of the great outdoors, so our offering is geared around getting children off technology and into nature!

Outdoor play areas

We have two play parks with swings, tunnels, climbing frames and slides, which offer endless fun for younger members of the family. There’s also a large recreational field, reserved for ball games, picnics, kite flying and family fun.

Coarse fishing lake

Families can spend an afternoon on the banks of our well-stocked private fishing lake during an Easter break at Moss Wood. The lake is for the exclusive use of holiday park guests, so you can enjoy peace and tranquillity while learning a new skill. Many children have caught their first fish at Moss Wood and are ‘hooked’ from then on in!

Nature trail

Take some time to complete our nature trail and woodland walk, while exploring Moss Wood’s rural grounds. The nature trail is approximately 1.5km in length and perfect for helping children learn about a variety of animals that are native to the UK. We’ve installed handy information boards along the route to help you identify any wildlife you see along the route. Previous guests have been fortunate to spot a host of birdlife, insects and eve a red squirrel!

Things to do in Lancashire

If you’re staying with us in the school holidays you can make the most of plenty of things to see and do nearby. Lancaster, Preston and Blackpool are just a short drive away and home to some of the best family-friendly attractions in the North West.

If the bright lights of the city aren’t for you there are plenty of nature reserves and country parks to explore. The Forest of Bowland is perfect for hiking and cycling and Brockholes is the ideal destination for budding wildlife watchers looking to participate in a host of nature themed fun.

We’re also within easy reach of plenty of beaches, if you fancy a fun-filled day on the coast. Morecambe Bay, Fleetwood, Cleveleys, St Annes and Knott End-on Sea are all within easy reach.
