We have a fantastic selection of touring caravan pitches situated in a beautiful countryside setting. Park up and spend a couple of days exploring the local area or nature watching in our expansive grounds.

5-star touring pitches

Our caravan, motorhomes and campervan pitches are spacious and situated away from major rounds. They are flanked by mature trees, colourful flowers and shrubs, creating a relaxing environment to spend quality family time together. All our pitches are hard standing with electric hook up, water and drainage as standard. Each pitch has a grass surround, providing an outside space for children to play or enjoy a picnic outside.

Family friendly facilities

We take great pride in our facilities and our continuously expanding our offering to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. We’ve invested heavily in our family friendly facilities over the years and are always look for innovative ways to engage children with the outdoors.

Children’s play parks & recreational field

We have two adventure playgrounds where little ones can burn off some steam. One has recently been refurbished and now features plenty of equipment, including a climbing frame, swings, tunnels and slides.

There’s also a dedicated recreational field where younger members of the family can run and play ball games with new found friends. We welcome children to ride bikes and scooters around the site and have reduced our speed limit to 10mph, to ensure safety at all times.

Nature trail

Our park is set in picturesque rural setting, surrounded by trees and farmland. To encourage youngsters to learn more about the natural environment, we’ve developed an exciting nature trail to follow around our grounds. Pick up a guide from reception and stop at various habitats around the park. You’ll find information boards telling you what species to look out for as well as fun facts about the different flora and fauna on display.

Clean and modern amenities

Our shower and toilet block are cleaned to a high standard at regular intervals throughout the day. There’s a baby change area as well as a laundrette with washers and dryers, perfect for cleaning muddy clothes after a day of adventuring!

Other facilities include a trust library, where you can borrow books and DVDs, a well-stocked shop, woodland walk and fishing lake.

Children’s activities and attractions

Moss Wood Caravan Park is ideally situated for exploring the local area and just a short drive from a number of popular towns and villages, including Blackpool, Fleet Wood, Lytham and St Annes. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions in the area, ideal for rainy days or a well-earned treat.

Some of our favourite attractions include Brockholes, Sea Life Blackpool and Wild Discovery. We also hold a family fun day on site as well as well as easter egg hunts and guided nature walks.
