Is there a beach at Morecambe?
Yes, there are two beaches in Morecambe – North Beach and South Beach. They’re the ideal setting for a relaxing beach day or coastal walk. The beaches in Morecambe are not patrolled by lifeguards, so please exercise caution if you decide to go for a paddle. Be wary of the conditions and check the tide times before heading out. The tide comes in very quickly here. Dogs are allowed on the beach from 1st October – 30th April. Outside of this time dogs are not permitted. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the promenade.
