Where is the Trough of Bowland?
The Trough of Bowland is a picturesque valley and pass, located within the Forest of Bowland (AONB). The pass reaches 295 metres above sea level and boasts beautiful views of the remote countryside. It runs from Dunsop Bridge to Marshaw, if you’re travelling a northerly direction and is very steep and narrow. The Trough of Bowland is popular with walkers and cyclists. There are a handful of lovely cafes to enjoy too!
