Helping local wildlife at Moss Wood

At Moss Wood Caravan Park we do everything we can to protect the natural surroundings and have started a number of initiatives, which enable various species to thrive. Our commitment to sustainability and the environment has been recognised within the tourism industry, and we’re delighted to have received a number of awards including the Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award.

Across our site you will find a number of landscaped areas with a variety of beautiful flowers. We’ve also left some areas of grass a little longer – this encourages wild flowers to flourish. Let’s not forget our private fishing lake, home to a number of fish and insects and our dedicated nature trail, which takes touring guests and holiday home owners along our woodland walk, where you may be lucky enough to spot an elusive red squirrel!
