The team at Moss Wood Caravan Park are delighted to reopen for the 2017! It’s always a pleasure to open our gates at the beginning of the season so that visitors can enjoyed a well earned holiday at our award-winning Lancashire holiday park.
A huge welcome to touring guests and holiday home owners who have already visited since Wednesday, it was a pleasure to see you back on the park. We also look forward to seeing everyone who has trips booked to Moss Wood later in the year.
Over the winter season we’ve continued to reinvest in the park and make a number of improvements to ensure our grounds and facilities remain in tip top condition. We’re sure you’ll agree the park is looking beautiful at the moment and continues to serve as an excellent base from which to explore Lancaster and the wider Lancashire area.
Guided tour of the night sky
To celebrate the start of the season, we have invited a local astronomy expert to Moss Wood to give us a guided tour of the night sky. We will meet outside reception and head to the playing field to get the clearest view of the stars. Everyone is welcome to join us for what is set to be a fantastic evening spend with family and friends.
The event is free to attend and of course, there is a back up plan if the skies aren’t clear. If there’s rain or excessive cloud we will set up a projector on the reception ceiling so we can still learn about the night sky above Moss Wood Holiday Park.
