Stargazing Live in Lancaster

Local Astronomer gives us a tour of the night sky at our Star Tours event om 10th March
Following on from our successful Star Tours event two weeks ago – a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support this! – there is another star-based bonanza happening this week and next. Just down the road from Moss Wood, at Williamson Park in Lancaster, there will be free stargazing events on Friday 24th March and Friday 31st March at 7pm.
The Lancaster and Morecambe Astronomical Society will be hosting the event as part of the BBC Stargazing LIVE series, which will be bringing in similar events in different locations as part of a TV series which will be hosted by Dara O’Briain and Professor Brian Cox on BBC Two, Tuesdays at 8pm starting next week.
