Wild Fun Day

Coming up on Saturday 19th August is Moss Wood’s Wild Fun Day!
We will be celebrating the diversity of the wildlife to be found around the park here at Moss Wood. There will be games, building some wildlife homes like birdboxes and bug hotels either for your home or to go around Moss Wood, and a chance to go pond dipping in our new on-site nature reserve. The event will be opened by our mystery guest speaker…can you guess who it is?!
We will also have stalls from the RSPB and Wildlife Trust, showcasing the great work they are doing around our local area to help our native wildlife. Visit Lancashire will also have some information provided to showcase some of our local attractions – the less distance you need to travel, the better for the environment (and less time spent stuck in a car!).
