The Big Easter Egg Hunt | 1st – 10th April
Located at Mrs Dowsons Farm Park just over half an hour’s drive away in Blackburn, The Big Easter Egg hunt will provide the perfect day out for the family. Mrs Dowsons is a working farm and there are many animals are on site. Children can pet and feed the animals.
Lambing Live is a particular favourite among our younger visitors! The farm is also popular for its unique GoatYoga classes, which promises ‘smiles, goat selfies, warm cuddles and a relaxing environment’.

Easter Eggstravaganza at North Pier | 9th April
This fun-filled event is ideal for families with younger children. Here, your little ones will have the opportunity to meet Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam, Super Mario, the Easter Bunny and enjoy a brilliant live show featuring magic and illusions. The star of the show, Captain Calamity, is sure to make the experience one to remember. Your child will also receive a free easter egg at the end of the show!

Easter Family Fun Day – 10th April 2023
The Easter Egg Family Fun Day is perfect for the whole family. Children of all ages will enjoy the exciting Easter Egg hunt, egg decorating and egg fling, as well as bounding around on inflatables and glass sledding. There is a small entry free, which includes a free hot drink for adults. You can also book additional activities at the brilliant Waddow Hall Activity Centre for an extra fee.

Creative Easter – 5th April 2023
Get creative at Heysham Nature Reserve this Easter! Your little ones can try their hand at making a willow chick and a nest basket, before going on an egg hunt. The whole family can search for egg tokens around the trail. There will be crafts for younger children.

Spring Into Easter – 5th April 2023
Spring Into Easter at Brockholes Nature Reserve features an egg hunt with a twist. Children will have a chance to paint their own eggs and spoons before racing! They’ll learn more about animals on the reserve as they explore the route! Adults go free and there is a small charge per child.
