What are the best walks near Moss Wood?Moss Wood is perfectly placed for guests looking to enjoy a walking holiday. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking to enjoy a couple of leisurely strolls with your four-legged friend, you’ll find something to suit your needs. On-site we have a picturesque woodland walk that cuts through mature forest. It’s only half a kilometre long, making it the perfect choice for a morning dog walk before heading out for the day. We also have a 1.5km nature trail to follow around the park. Little ones will love looking for bugs, butterflies and birds as they complete the route. They can use our information boards to help identify their finds. If you’re looking for something slightly longer, the Lancashire Coastal Way passes near the park. This well-known route is 137 miles long and offers plenty of wildlife watching opportunities and the chance to enjoy some of Lancashire and Cumbrias’s best sights. We recommend splitting it into small sections to enjoy during your stay. The route passes Blackpool, Fleetwood and Cockerham Sands before heading towards Lancaster and Morecambe Bay.
